Furnace Problem

I have a 2016 Surveyor and the furnace does not respond to the thermostat. If I jump across the thermostat the blower activates but the gas supply does not. As a result, the furnace shuts down after about a minute. Any suggestion would be appreciated. It has a Dometic thermostat. Thanks, Mike

I have had some issues with RV furnaces before. I could probably help some. But the best thing to do is go to YOUTUBE. That's what I originally did.

For a start:

Good Luck!

It sounds like the sail switch is not closing. Also, you have a bad thermostat. Is the thermostat an analog type? What make and model is the furnace?

+1 to sail switch. I had those symptoms when the switch failed on a Dometic furnance (in another rig, not a Surveyor.). I think Surveyors all have Surburban furnances but it's the same concept.
