Grand Surveyor 273 current draw

I have a 2005 Grand Surveyor 273. It has a current draw when everything is shut down and eventually drains the battery. The circuits affected are the tank monitor panel and water pump, the entertainment center, and the reverse polarity circuit. I can verify the current draw because of the sparking when the fuses are pulled and reinserted. Is this normal or is there a remedy?

Draws it down over what time period?

There are parasite loads on almost every system. Smoke detector, LP detector, LED on television or stereo, even if fridge is on propane there is 12v draw on the control circuit.

My total parasite draw with fridge off is less that 1 amp/hour, with fridge on, it jumps to about 2.5 to 3 amps per hour.

sounds pretty normal, that's why a lot of us install a battery disconnect switch.

First of all welcome to the forum!

I agree that it's likely the parasitic draws, but a few questions for you...

What kind and size battery, how old is the battery and how long does it take to draw down?

One more thing, these batteries don't deal well with over discharging too often and a disconnect is an effective and cheap solution to avoiding this problem.
