Heat!!

Out in our 243RBS for the first time in +35° weather, no hookups.

We’ve been keeping the place closed up tighter than the lid on a pickle jar during the day, everything open at night... bought a battery operated fan.

Any tricks of the trade I should know about so we don’t get cooked alive?

*if you haven’t guessed, we don’t do well in the hot hot heat

Wow! We have 93 degrees right now in Florida. Thirty five degrees Celsius is 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Parking in the shade, keeping window treatments closed, using fans, and swimming all would help, as well as what you are already doing. If it’s hotter inside than outside, open your windows and put on your exhaust fan to create a cross breeze. Hopefully you don’t have the high humidity we have here. I don’t camp without air conditioning in those temps anymore, however.

We’re hotter than Florida?! This is supposed to be Canada!!! Had we known, we might have sprung for a serviced site. All learning experiences I guess, thanks Camping Gator I’ll give the exhaust fan a go. Bought a solar panel to top up the batteries so I’m sure it can run for a bit!
