Probably go into early November if we have some nice weekends. Usually stick close to home around this time and hit up Golden Ears provincial park when the weather man shows us some sunny weekends.

Going to a car show at both locations and spend time with family in MB.

The good thing about your timing is most of the fall bikers will be gone.

Our plan this year is to keep going till the snow flies ,which in New England could be next week or January. Most of the CGs here pack it up CD weekend but there are a few that go to 10/30 and some 4 season for the snowmobile/skiing crowd. As long as the snow holds off we will be camping

We pulled out of our summer site this weekend. Taking a little trip to Keeneland Horse Races then back to Ohio. Our last trip of the year will he very special. At the end of October we are going to Lexington Virginia. Our daughter is getting married there. Since we nerd to transport a lot if the decorations, we are taking the truck and Windjammer. Our friends are camping with us or renting cabins at the campground. Really looking forward to a beautiful wedding and party with friends! Then hone to clean and winterized.

Bikers dont bother me. Most give me a thumbs up! I will have my 1932 Hot Rod with me. Side pipes almost as loud as bikes. Conversation starter in CGs. Usually the oldest vehicle there and some of the kids think its a big Hot wheels!

We aren’t gone [emoji3]. Actually fall leaf rides are one of our groups favorites on our Harley’s.

How Late Will You Go?

We are closing up within the next week or so. We would love to keep going a bit longer but finding local campgrounds that are open past Columbus Day is proving to be quite a challenge.

Cool Camping season

I love the responses! So here is my 2 cents worth (5 cents for you Canadians since you no longer use pennies ) . I am retired and my DW is about to. I live in Maine but really... I am now a North American. I love camping from Canada (so far NB, NS, QP, & OP) to Minnesota to Florida and points in between. With relatives (in good standing) in Texas & Florida these are future destinations for cooler months (Nov thru April). May thru July we want to explore the northern tier states and western Canada. September to mid-October, it is hard to beat Maine & NH. Speaking of Southern states, we have friends in Myrtle Beach and November is a good time to visit. We will not stay south for the whole winter so when we get ready to head home, we winterize. Still not sure why I plan to keep my stick built house .

This past weekend was our last trip. Camped with 3 other families outside of Bennington, VT. Pictured below is a drone view of our campground and surrounds. 82 degrees on Saturday in Bennington. Unbelievable for October!

Heading to Myrtle Beach for a week in November....More then likely I will blow out the lines, drain the HW and drop some antifreeze in the drains and traps after returning and will break it out again in either February or March to start the 2018 Season.

We're going places year round. Have been since we started RVing. We do live in the SE, so we usually don't need to hard winterize, which makes it easier.

Not rubbing it in, just answering your question.
