Kitchen faucet

Anybody else having trouble with their kitchen faucet? Ours started dripping not long after we bought our 266RLDS. Our dealer replaced it, under warranty. Now it is dripping again. Is trash getting in the valve washers? Love the trailer an the faucet, too. Will take camper back to get faucet replaced...but was wondering if anyone else was having problems with this style faucet. Just go to your favorite big box store, and buy the faucet you oike and put it in. There no diferent from any faucet in your home, just way cheaper.

We had our faucet replaced under warranty as well. However, with us, the drip was coming from the pivoting part of the handle and then dripping onto the counter top. It was replaced without issue, but I'm keeping a close eye on the new one.

I hate to say that eventually, we will likely be upgrading to a better quality faucet.

I'll be watching my new one as we will be field testing it in the next 3 weeks.

While mine did not drip, I could never get usable warm water....just scalding hot....or cold. Found a killer deal on an open box buy at Home Despot. Problem solved, and a much nicer faucet as well!

I bought a new kitchen faucet but the fittings are different to the water line. What parts did you buy to solve this?

Both my kitchen and bathroom required no modifications at all. Without knowing what you are faced with, I would suggest you measure your fittings, take photos, grab your new faucet ( and your old one if you still have it) and go to your local store to get matched up.

Good luck!
Paul

Mine leaked from the handle. Replaced under warranty and that one leaked. Replaced again but with a different faucet.

Most RV faucets are plastic, painted a chrome color.

Mine would not rotate smooth and was sure it was going to break. Changed it out with a quality one from the hardware store before our 3rd trip.

My guess would be that the ring on the end screws off. As for replacement, have no idea. Maybe take to a big box store and look for a match.

Looks like it could be a cartridge type valve (fairly common on single valve faucets) which may require a special tool to extract. New cartridges often include the tool.
