New MORryde sliding tray

Just wrapped up installing a 26"x90" two-way sliding tray by MORryde in the front pass through. It slides out about 3' to either side making the stuff in the middle easy to get to. Available height is reduced to 12" clearance but, that limit is overcome by accessibility. I mounted it aft to leave room for broom clips and not crowd the light and switch mounted forward.

Mounting details:
- The thing is heavy but, I was able to get it in by myself.
- I needed to add a spacer so the pop rivets would clear the door frame. I used 5/32 x 1 1/8 x 8' PVC lattice running the length of each side rail. That gave ~1/16 clearance.
- I drilled 5/16" through holes and installed 5/16 x 3" stainless steel carriage bolts with stainless fender washers and stainless nylon lock nuts. I applied butyl tape to one side of the fender washers to seal it up.

Pics attached. As you can see, I'm still working out stowing details.

I made my own out of angle iron, plywood and garage door track that does the same thing.

Looks good. I thought about those too, just not sure I could store as much stuff as without the tray.

MorRyde tray

Nice install. I had one put in by my dealer prior to taking delivery & love it. No more banging my head reaching for things. I found that when I loaded it, I didn’t need as much “stuff” as I had in my previous trailer...
