My 20 amp outlet is able to run my 13.5k a/c IF there are no other AC power demands.

How heavy is HD extension cord?
How long is HD extension cord.?
Your converter will use some 120V
What else in your garage/home is on that breaker?

Is the home/garage outlet protected by GFCI?

I use a heavy duty 12ga extension cord and have run my AC on 20A with no issues. The frig can always be run on LP if so equipped.

As others report, mine works fine that way. Use a heavy gauge extension cord and keep it as short as you can. If your trailer power cord will reach the power source, eliminate the extension cord by using a 15A male - to - 30A female dog-bone adapter. One having 90 degree plugs is better than one with straight plugs. It takes the strain off the cord. (But it's not really a big deal.)

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000BUU5YA, less than $10.

I don't usually use my frig while my 5er is parked at home, though I do turn it on prior to a trip to get it cooled down. But when I go to work on it, or clean, or to use when family or friends come in. But I can usually run the AC, the TV, a computer, and a couple of plugs to charge phones. And the lights. Mine is a 20 amp plug. Sometimes something will trip the breaker, but not too often.

Yes. Do it all the time on the 18,500 unit.

AD on 20 amp

I ran a 15000BTU on 20 amp with no problem. Use your RV cable with adapter to be safe.
