Question surveyor 265rlds walking chairs

Hi I am a new member, and a new owner with a question. This model is the big back window with 2 arm chairs. On our shake down trip we strapped the chairs down as shown by the dealer - seats facing each other, backs facing outwards. Each time we stopped, the chairs had moved, a lot. We would re-position, re-snug the straps. I am concerned the one chair will wedge itself behind the slide edge and the chair will get wrecked or we won't notice the chair and try to put the slid out.
What are we doing wrong?
Thanks for the help.
p.s. not sure why the photo got rotated, but the picture wasn't like that when i uploaded it. LOL

Does the strap have an anchoring point on the wall/floor behind the seat back that is to hold the chairs?

We have a different model but it too has a large back window and two recliners.
We face ours back to back and strap them together and to the anchors.
That is how they came from the factory.
They don't move.
Maybe you can adapt if yours are not meant to face back to back?

Thanks for the picture. It helps. Ours has floor rings on each side that we looped to. Next time out, I will see if we can do the back to back. They gave us two straps, and the length of the straps are just about right for the set up we used, not really long enough to go from one side to the other. Maybe criss cross somehow?

I have the same chair and they face back side to the door .run the strap under the chair and over the front edge to the ring on the floor works fine for me
