I looked at your floor plan. 4 Bunks? So one to four kids? I have nothing to add with traveling with kids. My wife and I are retired just us and Stella the Rottie.

We are now on our second travel trailer in 2.5 years.

Here is the biggest reason we upgraded. Our TV was in the same position as your chosen model. It was downright uncomfortable to watch the TV at that extreme (looking hard left) angle. Even if the TV rotates, not enough. For us the TV has to be across from our recliners. HEAVEN!

Also, dinettes are uncomfortable for anything but a quick meal and possibly little children.

But then we are old farts. So your mileage will vary

Our Surveyor is new from January. So far so good. Only one break-in trip. Minor inconveniences. Then the Virus hit. Ughhh

So best of luck and have fun.

We have 4 kids (6,6,6, and 4). We are looking for a unit that can sleep all of us in separate beds without using the table and couch and is towable by a suburban. We don't have many options.

That is good to know about the pain tv watching angle.

How well does your unit hold the heat/ac?

Sounds like fun fun! God Bless You.

We have not run the A/C except to test it. The propane heater did fine down into the low 30s. Should be good lower than that. Our last trailer was ok at 16 degrees.

The electric fireplace was nice with the outside temperature at 40. Going to like that.

If this is your first trailer you do have to keep an eye on freezing pipes and valves and such. Our underbelly is heated on this trailer and our last trailer.

Good Luck.

Last week we took the plunge and signed a purchase agreement for a 2021 Surveyor Legend 295QBLE. We now need to wait for the factory to open back up. I heard on Monday?

Thanks for your input.
