When you get there and pulled in or backed in, level it side-to-side first. Then unhook from the truck, and level front-to-back. Then put the stabilizers down. Level with the wheels and tongue jack, the stabilizers are not levelers. I always use 1' square plywood under my stabilizers and tongue jack. Hook up the water, and make sure the water heater fills by pulling the pop-off valve until water comes out, and dry your hands... never turn on the water heater without water in it. Hook the power up to the trailer first, then to the breaker box... never roll up or unroll energized cords... Some folks don't hook up the sewer until it's needed. I go ahead if I'm in a space that has full hook-ups. However, I don't leave the valves open. I let the tanks fill and then dump all at once. There can be sewer fleas, and odors that can invade hour new home-away-from-home. After that, turn on the water heater, hook up the television, and any other stuff. Watch the weather with your awning. If the wind's much over 10 mph, my awning comes in. I never leave it out overnight. It's expensive if the wind rips it up. If you have speakers on the outside, make sure they are off if you're not out there. Be considerate of others in the campground... and most of all... ENJOY yourself!
When it's time to go... make sure everything inside is battened down, and do the start-up procedure above in reverse order. Remember to unplug the power from the breaker box first. Stomping around with wet hands on wet ground with a hot power cord can be deadly...
