Surveyor Offerings for 2020

Surveyor seems to have really cut back on their offerings and floor plans compared to a few years ago, looks like they are leaning towards smaller lighter weight units and mostly getting away from the large campers. My dealer no longer carries Surveyors so I haven't looked at the 2020s. I wonder what their long term plan is? Why are some of the campers only offered on the West Coast?

Looks like Surveyor is no longer making 5th wheels anymore, just TTs.
Didn't know that they were making Surveyors out West. They're making them in Oregon or SoCal then.

That's the first time I've seen something like that. Unless the West Coast version is something like a package option.

I think it is more package option oriented.

I remember looking at Keystone Passports and they had West & East versions. Sometimes the differences was a simple as interior fabrics.

My in laws have a "Hood River Edition" 2016 Rpod (cousin trailer to the Surveyors) that basically is slightly lifted with larger, all terrain looking tires. I'll be at their house this weekend and see if I can find where it was built. They live in Ellensburg, WA so it could have been built in OR....but still wouldn't be surprised if it had IN on it as well.

Surveyor Offerings for 2020

I couldn’t help but notice in the videos from the factory that they went away from the arched roof trusses. Now they’ve got a flat room and a flat ceiling. It’s seems like a step backwards to me.

That was one of the selling points when we bought the 2017, makes it feel more spacious.

Agreed. And it certainly sheds water better.

Our 2020 267RBSS has the curved roof. Built in November 2019.

2021 Models have no arch.

But then who knows when they made the actual change.

The real Big improvement is that the dog bowl is now located in the kitchen and not the external storage compartment. SUCH PROGRESS!
