Surveyor SC189 folding table question

This is a weird first question here on the forum but...

Took delivery of our 1014 Surveyor SC189 last night. This afternoon while getting all our gear situated, I noticed something odd about the folding table.
Look at the left leg folded how the bracket end sits so high. Is that right? I'm pretty mechanically inclined, measured the legs placement compared to the other side which lays flat. I can't figure it out

Any idea? If it is WTF would you design something like that? Extended the table legs lock and though attested from other threads here a pretty cheap table altogether, the legs a 90 degrees and the locks fully engaged.

I'm with MOD Guy on this one. I think the lock or maybe the entire left leg set has been mounted backwards.

The leg looks right. I also think the silver arm is backwards and should fold toward the bottom of the table.

BTW, is this the table that everyone is complaining about? Ours is not like that one.

I sent a pic to the dealer. They agreed something is wrong and will be replacing it during a service visit in a couple weeks. I still have to get it out for a shake down trip after installing a Andersen WDH that should be delivered in a few days.
