Surveyor shore power cord

Hi all,

I have a friend who recently purchased a 2006 SV291 at an RV auction near Houston. Among the missing items is the shore power cord. I'm not very familiar with Surveyors--can someone tell, or post a picture of the hookup? I believe it's a removable cord versus a self-storing type, and I know it's 30amp. Will a standard Marinco power cord that we can get at an RV parts store work for it?

We're going to go up and get it in a couple of weeks, and I want to help him gather all the missing stuff prior to us heading out there.

Thanks,

Joe

Greetings,

I have a SV189 with detachable cord (2010 model). I purchased a short 12' yellow Marinco 30 Amp cord which I plan on using for attaching a Honda 2000. Didn't want to haul 30' of cable (as supplied by FR), which is stiff. Feels like it's made from PVC pipe.

Anyway, the trailer end has the rotating lock on it, and the Marinco fits it. Not to mention that it is very flexible.

The 2006 Surveyor SV291 has the standard detachable cord. The cord will look like the one in the picture below, only Black,

Thanks guys. I was hoping a standard Marinco will work. I'll have my friend add it to his shopping list.

I have a 2007 FR with a detachable power cord and have no reason not to believe that any of these Marinco products would work with my setup.
30 Amp RV Electrical Products | Marinco

Just my 2 cents.
