Surveyor SV304

Well we just picked up our 1st trailer it's the SV304. And have a few questions. Is it ok to leave the slide out when it's raining? Also pushing the slide in and out 2-4 times a week. Is that to much? We live up here in Seattle and trying to get it stocked up with all our stuff for camping and the kids wanting to go hang out in the trailer but I always pull the slide in at night because of the rain. Would it be better just to leave the slide out?

Congrats on your new camper! No you don't have to bring the slide in when it rains as it should be water tight. There shouldn't be any issues with the amount of times that the slide is operated, though you should try to be quick on the control button when the clutch disengages (that rattling sound) to avoid damage to the drive.

What would you do at a campground? Leave it open. Enjoy the camper..
