Taking Delivery Tomorrow

The day is finally here! We are taking delivery of our 2019 287bhss tomorrow morning. To say we are excited is an understatement! We got all the options we wanted and are having them add the vent covers as well. Anything else to add when we are there? The dealer is offering 18% off of parts and labor as part of a weekend special. Also, anything else to look for during the pre delivery inspection? I have downloaded the file from this site and informed the service department that it's going to be a long morning......Just wondering if there was anything else I should be looking out for. PDI, dont take it unless everything is fixed, check and double check, my dealer threw in covers for free. Have a second person go over and check everything.

Check all the 110v outlets (the dealer provided me a tester)... there are two “cubbies” on either side of the bed - be sure the frame underneath the removable shelf is attached on at least 3 sides... neither of mine were & the shelves didn’t fit correctly...

if you got the hide a bed option open it up all way way. forest river installed the wrong brackets and mine would hit the frame when opening up. forest river sent out new brackets and they are getting installed next week.

Took delivery almost two weeks ago! I must say I am thoroughly impressed! Timberview RV, Frankfort IL, (Chris) did an awesome PDI and explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions. Fit and finish is awesome and it seems like a very high quality trailer. My kids were sooo excited (we surprised them) and my wife likes it more than I do. It has been stuck in the driveway since we bought it (kids in baseball and softball). Memorial Day weekend will be its maiden voyage, can't wait.

I thought the Golf cart battery (two 6 volts) set up was a very good option. In two years, these have been perfect, even off the grid for 5 days. (with a 2000 watt generator).

How comfortable is the sofa bed to sit on? Should I get the FR or go for the Thomas Payne?

Its not bad, but then again, I'm not too picky. The wife and kids and I spent a lot of time on it last weekend when it rained watching movies. We love the new camper!
