Cool Wheels off the Ground for Winter Storage

Would like to gather some opinions.

For my winter outside I am considering using 4, 12 ton jack stands to elevate the tires off the ground.

1. Do you think this would put too much negative pressure on the axle springs?
2. I'm thinking of placing the stands as far in as possible (but on the frame) and then using the stabilizers for just that, to ensure winter winds (bad in Wyoming) don't rock and roll it too much.
3. Or lastly, do you think I am in overkill mode and just putting something under the tires to separate them from the concrete and a little over-pressure in the tires would be enough?
