25RRT Water Heater Access

Did this today using a marine access hatch I picked up on Amazon:

You solved your problem of getting to the WH. Homely it won't cause the problem the princess and the pea had when you sleep. assuming your mattress covers that area. LOL

HEHE, hope not, it's only about a 1/4" tall so I don't expect to be able to notice it. I also tend to keep a couple spare fleece blankets folded under the head of the bed to elevate it slightly so I'm not too worried.

There is a ton of blocked off dead space around the WH in this camper, I'm considering a second marine hatch at the base of the night stand on that side. I could easily stash a small toolbox and some spares in there.

My previous camper was a truck camper so I developed a bit of anxiety over any unused/inaccessible spaces. Going from that to my 25RRT has been a huge adjustment and the new camper isn't really all that big by travel trailer standards. I probably need therapy.

Nice ! I may have to go with this route. It's a pain lifting the bed to switch the valves. Can you post a link for the cap please.
