the doors in between bathroom and gerage wont latch it is out a half inch from the latch hole why does this happen

It would help if you listed your make and model having a garage we can assume its a toy hauler. Does this happen when on the suspension or when the stabilizers/jacks are down? It sounds to me like the frame is flexing.

This can result from several things.


1. The door can be mis-hung at the factory. Did it ever align? Is the door square with the frame?

2. You can twist the frame if you use the stabilizers as levelers.

2. If stabilizers are correct and frame is square with door then you can simply move the strike plate the proper location.

Thank you guys it was the Jack's I lifted them up and the door now closes
