Folding door handle

I went to lift and close the folding handle next to the door yesterday and the dang thing pulled right out of the side of the unit.

Imagine my surprise when I found a total of six holes behind the lower bracket. Seems they must have been having some trouble getting the two screws to take at the factory so they just kept drilling until they stuck (although apparently not good enough).

We have only had our unit a few weeks and after being a member of this forum since January I was kinda expecting things like this to happen.

I suppose I will contact my dealer who is almost two hours away, but our race season just started so I cannot be without this unit until the end of the year. I suppose there will be more so I will just make a list.

I was able to get the screw back in there for now, but I know it's not a fix. Anyone have any suggestions on repairing this one?
