Fresh water drains

I have a 2017 Forest River Grey Wolf 22RR with those 2 drains with caps. First
is it necessary to drain them each time you move ?
There doesn't seem like there is much water. Second is there a good way to install some type of valve, that would be easier than those darn caps ?

If you are talking about the low point drains then no you don't have to drain them each time you move. Cheapest way to add a valve is a pvc threaded ball valve.

Those are the ports that drain the cold water line( blue) and hot water line ( red). It is up to you but some people drain them after each trip. It does keep the lines fresher. If you do drain them, drain the WH first as opening the low point drains with water in the WH will draw out some of the crud that settles in the bottom of the WH. Some will stay in the lines then be pushed into the faucets next time you use water. There are several ways to add a valve to the hoses to make draining easier. I used an adapter to a 1/4 turn valve.
