I bought a new wolf pack 305 5th wheel the dealer did not show me how it works, its 3.5 hour drive to the dealer. The next week we packed up to go camping filled up the tank with gas to run the toys couldn't get the pump to turn on.replaced the fuse.it still wouldn't work.had to go get gas at the gas station.

From what I can see on mine the only other simple check would be the wires around the pump. Or the switch could be bad. Could you try hard wiring around the switch to eliminate the switch.

Pump is jammed. I wired a reversing switch so I could run the pump backwards. That usually clears the pump when it is jammed.

Every month I run the pump for 5 minutes in recycle (fuel from the nozzle into the tank). That seems to keep everything running OK.

I don't know about all the fuel stations but if yours is like the one on my Palamino if the the gauge is working so should the pump.

Does your fuel station have a 5 minute timer at the gauge?

...it blew a fuel...
I am guessing you meant "fuse." That really sounds like a jammed pump. When the pump's rotor is jammed, it stars pulling a lot of amps and eventually blows the fuse.

If you can reverse the pump's power polarity, you can reverse the direction of the rotor. This can help dislodge whatever trash may be jamming the rotor.

On my system, besides the timer inside, there is an on/off switch at the fuel station. When I reverse the power, I turn the on/off switch rapidly on and off until I hear the pump running, then I turn it off. Then I return the polarity to normal and run the pump in recycle for several minutes.

Every month I run the for two or three minutes in recycle to keep the pump running.

One thought about this too. I wonder if the pump is swelling because of the ethanol added to fuel?

read through those posts and they are right the plastic gear actually swells and jams. there is a lever or handle at the pump under the camper because it is the same thing you'll find on the fuel tanks on ranch and farm trucks for fuel tansfer. if the gear has swelled you'll have to pull the side cover of the pump itself and pull the gear out. if it has swelled real bad pulling it out may require a slide hammer which i have experienced myself twice in 1 year and I don't haul anything but premium fuel for my sand rail! this was on my old 30 wp anyways. you'll have to sand down the side of the plastic gear. I have though about machining some aluminum gears but haven't yet. wish I could find 1 for sale but have never been able to find 1. I had to take a file to the tips of the plastic gear once as well as sanding the side down too. if you loosen the 4 bolts on the side plate and it starts then that is definitely the problem. if it is really jammed then it still won't spin.

when i do a search on that pn # it comes up as a fuel gauge set. do you have a pic of the box? is there a ground wire coming out of the box that may have been cut or un hooked? if the box has a built in relay then a dead ground wire would keep power from exiting.

Thanks dsrace,
I donot have a pic of the box, but all the wiring from the camper go into one plug with four wires, green, blue, red, and white. White being grd and red being pos from camper wiring. the box has same. Coming from box blue and green go back to feed fuel gauge set which has a switch to turn on pump.

Thanks dsrace,
I'm pretty sure I checked all wires, but I will check again this coming weekend. I donot have a pic of the little box, it's about 4"x3" with green, blue, red, and white wires coming out which plug into the harness from the camper.

Sure did, I contacted the manufacturer and ordered it about $40.00 now I have to find out how to prime the pump because I had taken it apart and sanded the gears

sorry didn't check back a while ago on this post but sounds like you figured it out and the timer would kill the power. the pumps really are not a good design imo but i will say the one on my 2011 295 wp is diff than the on that was on my 06 30wp! i have never used the one on my 2011 because the bad memories from the one on the 06 still haunt me lol well that and the 24" fuel line that won't even reach the ground. i really think we'd be better off with a hand crank gas caddy.
