Smile hauling sxs

We have a 22rr Grey Wolf. We squeeze in a 2012 Polaris 900 xp rzr. Mind you we had to rip out the side pantry to fit it in.

I recently traded in our 26rr. Great toy hauler for smaller toys and a 1/2 ton. I hauled 2 full size Atv’s no problem. We then got a 4 seater Teryx 4. It was too long and too tall to even begin to fit although I’ve seen a few get the 2 seater version in by putting golf cart tires and taking out 3/4 of the cabinets on the right side. If you want to fit it in there are many different ways to achieve that. Cage chop can help height too. I wasn’t willing to go through that every time we ride. We ended up getting a ultralight camper with 2 slides that weighs not much more then the 26rr did and my wife tows the Teryx on an open trailer. Takes 10min to load on the trailer and go. We ride only an hour from home so it works for us with 2 vehicles when we want to overnight. I’m sure someday we’ll go back to a toy hauler but I want to get a bigger truck before that day comes.

Does anyone know if the RZR 570 or Pioneer 500 will fit in the 22RR without having to rip anything out?

From what I have seen on here anything wider than a 50" will not fit, at least not without some modification. Some have stated they had to remove the handles on the drawers and park the right side on the wheel hump. My neighbor has a Ranger, we have done some measuring it looks like it will fit but we have not tried it yet.

I have a Can Am commander with wheel spacers and a lift kit that I squeeze into my 26RR. I had to modify the "helmet rack" cabinet to be even with the rest of the cabinets on that wall to do it. Looks like it was supposed to be that way and it fits. BARELY... But it fits.

I wanted a toy hauler. Wife didn’t want a car in her kitchen.
2 months later she hit the gas instead of the break and ran her car through the garage.
I still don’t have a tow hauler.
But she has a new BMW. not fair.

We just purchased a 294rr to take my Cub Cadet Challenger along. It's 50 inches wide and 71 inches tall. Fits just right.
The passenger side slide mean the front has to be parked a little off center.

Might note that most National and State parks Trails have a 50 inch width rule.

I also purchased the Cherokee 294rr in April. I haul a 2017 rzr 900 inside. I have lots of quality issues with this camper. The fit and finish is bad. Have you had any issues with your 294rr?

294rr

Haven't had any problems, but the interior is pretty plain. Agree the construction isn't top notch.

Lighting is meager. Installed lights on either side of the medicine cabinet with a wall switch. Added a switch to the round overhead bath light also. Wife has a problem reaching the little button switch in the middle of the lamps. Going to add a switch to the bedroom lamp also.

Found a blank space under the microwave. Not sure why a door wasn't added, so this space could be used for storage or a drawer like under the Oven.

2018 Polaris RZR 1000 XP

Stock wheels, tire, and suspension. Passenger front wheel goes on the wheel well. Makes the trailer real tail heavy with the weight of the sxs, tries to whip a little behind our 2010 F150. But not terrible, it will tow very differently once we get a sway/weight distribution hitch

We haul a 2013 900 xp in our 26rr. The only thing i do when hauling is take the kitchen drawer handles off so they don't get bent. ( it is pretty tight, but works.)
The guy i bought it from had a 1000xp he hauled in it and he had a ratchet strap between the front a arms to make his car narrower.

Pulls great with or without the SxS.

Do you have any photos of the modifications you made? How does the camper pull with RZR inside?

Removing pantry

Bought a Grey Wolf 22RR because we wanted a toy hauler. Well I guess when I told the sales guy I was gonna get a RZR he thought quad 😡. My fault for not measuring. So I saw another post about taking out the pantry to make room. Is this very hard. I’m ok with basic tools and it looks like just screws holding it up but just don want to get started and wish I hired someone to do it. Any feedback would help thanks.

We also had that intention but measured and saw it wouldn’t want. Also do you have the clearance height wise? I didn’t think there was enough. It’s not that tall of a rig.
