Just purchased a 2017 26RR as well and took it out this past weekend for its maiden voyage. It performed splendidly. We learned very quickly what we don't need to carry with us every time and what we DO need to carry. I can see that I may end up modifying the loading ramp as my bike is 9 ft long and sits rather low. Was a bit of a challenge to clear the entry. Only issue we had was that the USB charging plug in the bedroom on the drivers side was inop. Everything else seemed to work properly. We also lost the cover to the outdoor security light while in transit. Dealer already has one ordered. Looking forward to many fun days on the road and meeting other RV/Biker enthusiasts.

Check out the thread pimp my 26rr for ramp ideas. I have an extension so my Honda does not bottom out. We love our 26rr and almost finished with all the mods that make it fit our lifestyle.

New 2017 26RR owner!

Loading is a real serious issue! 2014 Triglide HD sits extremely low! I redneck engineered a solution though! Get some 8 inch car Ramps for about $50 at Auto zone and back your truck up on them! This lowers the rear of camper by that same amount! And make sure your on level ground! Hope this helps and is an option you might consider?

Most people try to modify the bottom of the ramp but my secondary school knowledge of geometry tells me that a simple addition of some height at the rear wheel &/or front wheel just before the bike starts to scrape should get over the problem easier. A second set of eyes and some 2" x 10/8" pieces of wood should prove this.
Getting it out is more problematic as the pieces of wood MUST NOT move under the wheel. But there is a gap between ramp and floor that could be used as a place to hold it steady. Remember the bottom of the bike that scrapes is only for a few inches of movement until the wheels get closer to the same plane.
Of course you could change bikes to a higher one - like a BMW [emoji51]
