The spare tire is standard on the 26RR Limited and an option on the 26RR.

dgaines is correct; we got a spare with our 26RR "Limited". IMO the limited package is well worth the extra cost.

Do you know that the screen door for the garage comes with the 26RR limited? Mine does not have it. If we have to order one, anyone know what is the model?
We also want to get the surge protection for the inverter, any one put one in your 26RR?

Regards,
J & C

hello, the screen door was not in our 26rr either . we had our dealer order one from forest river. you will have to order the screen door and also the track that goes above the door to secure it.it is a easy installation , just screw the track in above the door and slide the screen across , put the supplied velcro down the side walls and you are done. it cost around 200.00 when we got it. as for the surge protector we purchased a progressive industries 30 amp electrical management system (ems) which can be purchased to either be hard wired into the camper or a portable one , we have a portable one , that is around 234.00 at dyersonline.

I got a 26RR limited edition this year and it had the rear screen included. I have modified it by adding Velcro across the bottom as it doesn't seal and insects and even mosses can get in. I put the Velcro on the vertical section of the floor between the floor and the rear door as it leaves sufficient gap when closed.
I put a 30amp Progressive EMS in the trailer behind the electrical panel. The wire to connect it is so stiff that I did not screw it down. So far it has been very good. I put the readout module up near the controller for the AC & heat. I ran the cable through a self sticking channel for the vertical run.
Enjoy your 26RR - it's a good trailer and there are lots of mods on these forums to make it just as you like it. I have enjoyed working on mine and am near the end of the mods for now. Our serious camping starts in a week or so.

My Limited came with spare but no screen. Im about to try mounting the spare on the back bumper with a universal mount that unpins to swing down for the loading door to open.

I carry my spare and wrenches locked in the cap on my Tundra right up the front of the bed. I hope I don't need them too often but they are easy to get at. Keeps the weight down a bit in the trailer.

Here it is with my modification of the Velcro across the bottom also shown. BTW: when this is down and velcroed as shown & the ramp door is closed do NOT have the zipper all the way down as I think the ramp door will crush it.

I have my spare under the bed. I added two IKEA drawers to each side of the bed. They are 26" long and 13 3/4" wide and 11.5 inches deep. This leaves just enough room for the tire to lay flat on the floor and not move around and also give more clothing storage space.

My 2016 limited also came with the spare tire and the back screen. Buying a trailer is like a car, they have different things added to the package that is either built into the sales price. Mine had the fancy wheels, the back screen, the spare tire, and what i like best about the 22rr grey wolf is the multi directional antenna that you do not have to roll up and down.

So did mine but the spare is not the same tire as the other 4 - it's not a radial. It will be the first to go when I eventually change mine out.
