I have not seen a mod like that, but just looking at the pics of your rig I would think you could mod one of those canopy's that folks use at the beach and vendors use and extend the legs and add some tie downs just a thought.

If you contact Carefree or Dometic and explain to them what you are looking for they can help you. You will need the width of the rear of your toyhauler and the length of the ramp you want to cover. Both companies make custom fit awnings in either manual or electric. Since toyhaulers have become so popular they may have a awning kit available that fits.

Morryde makes an inflatable screen room for toyhaulers; https://www.morryde.com/products/patioex/

I'm gonna use this for now, but am looking into the Thule Hideaway awning for the patio in the future. Just gotta make sure it's not too long.

To whom are you asking?

This thread is 6-7 months old and many replies had suggestions/solutions.

If you quote the post you are referring to, everyone understands.

i made a awning for a pop up camper once. take a piece of pvc pipe 1.5 or 3/4 , cut a slot in it all the way across , slide a blue / green tarp ," harbor freight" , across pipe in pvc , top of pvc pipe add velcro strips across pipe, put awning oround pvc so it comes out ontop of pvc pipe. add other side of velcro to tarp, hang on the square tabs in top of door hangers, each corner .usually standard on most toy haulers . "POLES" PVC + CAP , BOLT through cap nut each side of cap. for peg in tarp gromet. loops on rope go over bolt sticking out ot tarp. you can roll it up and let it hang , close door.

Cover for ramp

To Drobin and all;

I use sandbags to hold the screenroom to the ramp (Patio) that can also be used on the ground and ballast for the toyhauler area when not having the "Toy" aboard. RV not available right now, in storage, or I would send pictures.
