Pimp my 22RR 2021 Edition.

The glass door is on all trim levels I think.
New colors are an almost black for cabinetry and the walls are a light grey sort of commercial, space looking benign pattern. Boring but not as stupefyingly boring as the old brown.
Upholstery is not that weird saddle brown tan knockoff color. Much darker, like dark chocolate, better look to my eye anyway.
Fridge is a Cannon 12 volt only.
Nice and gets stuff cold quick.
Ran on battery for about six hours and it got charged to full on a two hour drive.
Exterior in fiberglass look great, we’ll see how well it holds up. I’m not super optimistic as mine will be stored outdoors.
I selected a few upgrades.
Black Label package
Adventure package which is just 15 inch wheel and ‘all terrain’ tires, which are pointless on a camper, but what the hell, they look cool.
50 amp power system
Equaflex suspension upgrade
Stereo is a Driven DR3200BT and it is pretty weak.
Measures 3.75 x 3.75 so I’m struggling trying to figure out s better solution.
(Already tossed the crappy driven factory speakers in favor of some JBL 6.75 speakers. Made a significant improvement)
Mattress was unusable. Tossed in some 149 Amazon latex foam special and made a giant difference.
Added an exhaust fan in bedroom so,I can upgrade to a nicer two way fan later.
I’m gonna change radio and a few other things so I’ll post pics of what’s behind the panels.

Turns out like a boat or a motorcycle, initial purchase is about 70% of the outlay

wearing the numbers off my credit card with "accessories"

Got a lippert waste master hose, worth every nickel but no place to store the hose yet
the nozzle is too big for the factory storage spot

going to pull one couch and ditch the table. It is heavy as hell and my kids are grown so an extra bed is a bug not a feature for us

Got a bamboo top folding table for an inside/outside/deck dining table and some waaaaayy too expensive yeti folding chairs, so Merry Xmas to me

Put in a couple of Roku TV's in
A 32 in the "living room" and a 24 in the BR. Total for both was around $250 and a silly easy install. Got sound going through the ceiling speakers for the "big screen"
That was easy too. Just got a 3.5mm to RCA cable and hooked it up to the headphones jack on the back of the tv and set the RCA cable to Aux 1 on the Driven DR3200BT (factory) stereo.

Tossed the facotry driven ceiling speakers and put in a set of 6.5 JBL car speakers. Massive difference. Increased size of ceiling hole with a dremel and the template that came with the speakers. Took under an hour.
MASSIVE diff in the sound. If I could find a stereo to fit the hole I switch it out. The Driven unit is underpowered, like 10 watts or something.

Following!

Great write up. More pics!

I'm waiting and dreaming for now as my WP 16BHS Black Label is pending build in late November.

I'll live vicariously for now!

Found a storage solution that works really well in the pantry is as cheap as chips.
It’s the smaller version of fabric storage cubes. 10.75. X 10.75

Under 5 bucks each at Target.

Short enough to tip down and look in
Lots of patterns available, so grey is snacks, white is booze etc.
Fits three wide with a little room for a random tall bottle of adult juice on the ends.

The bamboo folding shelf is some 15 dollar thing from target and the clear co;trainers are a Costco knock offs of oxo clear pop tops that were half the money.

Second couch was going to come out anyway, but FR kind of decided for me. Half the screws just went into the masonite not a stud and we’re pulling out after first weekend.
Super easy for an owner to fix, but still, disappointing.

Lots of money talk above
I know. Some think it gauche to,talk numbers

Screw that noise.

The only people that do t talk about money already have it.

Costa of improvements matter when making a decision, so I’ll post rough numbers

I’ll even post the deal sheet when I find it.

Got it Outpost RV in Middlebury Indiana.

Pricing was plainly stated and more than fair.

I would highly recommend them.

I had Outpost give me a quote on a Wolf Pup 16BHSBL. Great dealership to work with. I went local in the end, but if I lived closer to Indiana they would of certainly had my business!

Great idea. How big of a tv are you using?

We have the same radio in our 2021 25RRTBL. Are RCA connections the only way to get the ceiling speakers to work with the television? Was hoping the HDMI ARC out from the tv to the HDMI input on the front of the head unit would work but no matter the setting, will not work.

BTW: We bought ours from the same dealership in Indiana 11/23 and trailered it back to Austin. So far so good.

I think RCA is the only option.
Frankly, I'm not even sure what the HDMO port does on that stereo

Pulled the drivers side couch.
Bamboo folding camp chairs and a bag boo folding camping table.
Table can be adjusted high enough to have a mean on with the folding chairs
And yeah, they’re those absurdly expensive winter Sasquatch ones.
I’m a total fan boy.

That 32" is that mounted using the factory mount? RV place told me a 20" was as big as i should go. With as light as TV's are these days that seemed way small.

“ Adventure package which is just 15 inch wheel and ‘all terrain’ tires, which are pointless on a camper, but what the hell, they look cool. “

Don’t be too quick to dis the aggressive tires on a trailer. Yes, if you only pull on pavement then it’s just the cool factor.

However, if you do go a bit off road the tires will help with lateral slips when negotiating non-level terrain, mud, snow, sand. A little extra bite could make the difference in missing a tree or owning a tree. That package also gives you a bit more lift. Helps keep the underside bits in place.

I have a 2021 Mini Lite 2205S with the 15” tires and lift kit. Really helps on rutty roads.

RV Salesman are often stunningly clueless about their own product

Hadnt thought about but, now I feel justified in the upgrade.

Did some digging and it looks like the mount is good for 30lbs. So yeah, he was an idiot.

On the off-road stuff. Mine came with the off-road package and i was glad for it. I went to a friends parents farm for a party last year. She said TT for was fine. I had my truck in 4 high in the ditch bending around corners and a low water crossing I was amazed i didn't drag. Buddy came in with a RV and dragged his stabilizer jacks a couple times. Little extra ground clearance is good.

We put an Insignia brand "Fire TV Edition" TV in our 25RRT and found out that it will connect to the Furrion stereo via bluetooth. FWe love being able to load Pandora or Spotify on the TV, and listen outside with no issues. It's a decent option for those who don't want to mess with any wiring. Some other smart TV's may do this, the Toshiba Fire TV Edition we have in our home does but the TCL Roku TV in my office does not.
