I used this generator for 4 days straight at the hundredth Indy race with no problems with my 27rr. The nice thing about this generator is that my wife can start it without pulling it because it has electric start.

Umm description seems to indicate that it is a contractor generator. Based on posts I've read about genies, I'm also in the market for one, you're fine running this at the Indy, but if you take it to a campground, you may wake up in the morning to find your trailer decorated with lots of long strips of white paper...

Is your HF 2000 the inverter type? If so, several members were curious about its operation and hoping for a brief review.

It's good for a small air conditioner we had it for our pop up but once we bought our 27rr it wouldn't run our air conditioner. Yes it's the inverter type works good just don't expect it to do a lot we always had to shut either they are conditioner off if we want to use the microwave

but please be courteous...
IO see it's chained up... Is that because the owner is afraid someone will steal it or if someone might toss it in a nearby creek????

That us a racket maker....

Like I said I don't camp at a campground to take a generator. Duh I spend money for full hookup!

Last year at a dry campground, watched a toy hauler owner fire up his open frame generator right at 6:01! The big problem came from the guy that was tenting 20 feet away from it! He was hot-and the shouting match started. About 10 minutes long and ended with the TH owner stating that the rules say hours start at 6am. Well the tenter packed up two hours later and left- kids were crying. Camphost came by and told him that his generator was an annoyance to other campers and needed to wait until 8am for others to wake up before he fires up.

I just fired up my Honda and made my coffee and no one cared!

We did have one weekend at same campground that the temps dropped below 30 and no one was expecting it. Myself and other rv'ers killed our batteries that night. The camphost came around during the day and told us that because of the cold, the quiet generators would be allowed to run all night unless the campsite next to us complained. So I ran an extension cord and space heater over to the tent next to us and asked if they would have a problem with us running the genny during the night. What do you think they said?! [emoji57]

The only inverter genny's i have heard in person were the Honda's, and they were definitely quiet. Not sure about the other brands but I have heard Yamaha's were pretty quiet also. I would try to listen to them before I would make a purchase.
Nothing more annoying than listening to a loud generator drone on for hours.
Luckily all my campers have had a built in unit and didn't seem to loud.
I own a small non inverter genny for home use and wouldn't even think of taking it camping it would wake the dead.

69db is not quiet for an inverter generator.
That's the same noise level as the open frame Champion 3500 that costs $300.

Thanks for mentioning your dual fuel. I've been following the generator threads, as we want to get one for those times we don't have electric, and the DH said he's been looking at dual fuel. My question is how much does yours weigh, and how loud is it? Thanks for the info!

I went to Texas motor speedway last spring for the nascar race and everyone had those loud champion generators. Your parked 20 feet from each other and they would run them 24 hours a day. Watched our 'neighbor' fuel his up then they left, all while it was running. Gone all day long. Ran all night too. Only time they shut it off was when they packed up to leave. It was mid 70's down to mI'd 50's. Won't be back there.

There is a huge difference between Champions Open frame generators and their Inverter generators

Absolutely, noise produced and price too. Honda also offers noisemakers and so does Yamaha so not just Champion, Easy to tell the difference, just look at the price. An inverter will always cost at least 1/3 again as much as a noisemaker of equal output.
