Toilet rotation in 2020 27RR

For the life of Me I can not understand the why they mounted the toilet facing the wall and right next to the shower. You can barely get your foot around step on the petal to either flush or add water to the bowl. I was looking at the bottom of the toilet and since it is round why couldn't I just turn it to the right 90 degrees so it faces the sink allowing more room to use the commode, flush and even to get in and out of the shower. Looks like I only need to add mounting studs but am unsure of was is underneath. Anyone have a clue how to go about tackling that?

Depending on the floor flange, it may allow for rotating the toilet 90 degrees. Check your water line length and connectivity.

Turn off any water pump or water source. Disconnect the water line at the back of the toilet. Remove the 2 bolts (a.k.a Closet Bolts) holding down the base and lift up the toilet. There you can see the floor flange and if it provides the ability to move the bolt locations. The floor flange should NOT move or be moved.
