TV mount/weight

I was wondering if the tv mount on the wall could handle the weight of a 32" tv??
Next Question; the radio is a furrion and it has a AV mode, so im guessing in this mode you can play movies on your tv using this radio as long as your tv has an av input you can connect to ??

What TV did you guys buy for your toy hauler and are you happy with it ??

I have been going over my trailer preparing for a long road trip this year. When I took down the TV, I noticed it was mounted to a 1 by 3 piece of pine. The mount looked secure until I checked the board. It was simply screwed into the thin wall material. I will be securing it to the cabinet.
The radio is also a DVD player and the leads are in the back of the cabinet.

Be sure the mount is secured to at least 1 stud. 32" tv will be fine. Any 32" TV of your choosing from Walmart or Best Buy. If you're a hardcore boondocker you might want to look into a 12 volt TV. Some TV's with an inline transformer in the power cord are 12 volt.

This "PAW" type TV mount that is installed in "most" campers is limited to 30Lbs or less.
Beyond that, you would need to trust the installer to have mounted it correctly.
Hope this helps.

Is the 32 inch tv the biggest possible? Also has anyone put an arm mount in to change angle or is it best to stick with the paw mount? Thanks

I have a 40" in my toy hauler. I had to upgrade to the 200mm x 100mm PAW mount. Haven't had any issues.

I have a 32Ē SMART TV for mine. Going to install it using a MORRyde Articulating Mount. Going to mount a piece of hardwood to wall, before installing mount. TV only 11 lbs, but understand wall should support the weight of TV, plus the TV Mount TIMES 5, when traveling!

Maximum size TV?

Can any one of the 26rr owners tell me what is the dimension for the tv mounting location in the living area? In the wait for our TH to be delivered I would like to get ready with a TV set and possibly a mounting bracket. Is there any mounting brackets that the manufacturer includes with the trailer when new?
Cheers!
Dan

In my 2017 26RR, I got a VIZIO 32Ē SMART TV. I wouldnít count on the PAW mount to hold one that size, if left up while traveling. Some dealers will put in whatever you want, at extra charge of coarse. If boondocks is your thing, maybe a 12V TV. Iím mounting mine with a MORRyde TV mount that swings out, and locks in place for travel. Support wall behind TV if you plan on leaving it up while traveling!!!

It depends on the year. I moved my tv to the back of the trailer. You can see it at pimp my 26rr. I have a 32Ē flat screen that I mounted an articulating arm mount to the wall fastened into a stud. Over 5000 miles and has not had issues with it. I did have to devise straps and Velcro to keep it in place.

I ended up buying a 32 inch and for now I kept the paw mount. Worked good feels pretty stable but not sure if I want to leave it while in transit. I did run wires through the wall behind tv to radio. Realy dumb placement on imput right above tv.

That photo, is just like my 2017 26RR. You will note the three colored plug ins on the right side (facing) wall. I believe with BIGGER than a 32Ē TV, you might have to use 90* Adapter plugs for each plug! If Iím not wrong, the 2018 26RRís had these three plugs in the ceiling.
Better to measure, PLUS decide if youíre going to install a articulating Mount. If so, you might consider supporting that back wall with hardwood, then attach mountthru that, into wall, specifically where the PAW mount was located.

Our 26rr will be a 2019 model and will be delivered hopefully in a month or so. We looked at a 2018 unit on the lot and the salesperson said that most everything should be the same for the 2019, but who knows...?
I have planed a week-long trip for Memorial Day and I would like to get a TV set ready beforehand to take with us, that's why I would like to get a sense of the dimensions of that space.
