TV no signal

We just bought 2018 26rr, tv was not installed when we picked it up so we hooked it up. Tv in living room and bedroom both say no signal. NOt sure if we are doing something wrong. Has an antenna but still nothing. Also hooked cable up and still says no signal. Help! we are leaving for vacation in two weeks and can't figure this out! I am hoping it is something simple we are not doing right and not a service problem.

Have you accessed the tv menu setup options and chosen the correct source?

I feel like I have tried everything more than once, I don't know. I hate to have to call the dealership if it is something I am doing wrong. Tried it set as air for antenna, and cable for cable. Still says no signal for both.

Not familiar with the specific trailer but typically you'd need to switch between the external (cable) and the antenna on the roof somewhere inside the trailer. According the the FR website you have a "Digital TV Antenna With Power Booster" so likely there is a little push button next to a coaxial antenna cable connection. The antenna on the roof is obviously over-the-air using ATSC. The cable side is more tricky, unless you live in some really backwards area (technology wise) your home cable is encrypted and won't work without the set top box. So scratch that for now.

I didn't even think about needing the box for the cable. I will check the antenna again.

Where you connect the coax to the wall plate there should be a small button, push it and a green light comes on, this is for the antenna, pushing the button again turns the light off and this is for cable.

Might look like this for the antenna power button.

Have your reformed a "channel search" after choosing AIR or CABLE on your menu. The TV needs to do a channel search every time you relocate regardless of being connected to cable or air! You will also need to do a separate search for AIR as well as CABLE if you want to switch back and forth while at one location. The TV amplifier needs to be turned on when getting signals off air, and turned off when getting a cable signal. Most campgrounds DO NOT need a cable box to get their signal. On the rare occasion you stay at a campground requiring a box, they will give/rent you one.

Ok, I now have a few channels with antenna. Thanks for the advice. Still not sure about the cable. Going to try to hook up to house cable again and see if I get anything. If not, then I will assume it is because it is a house line and hoping the campground cable will work. Thanks.
