Wolf Pup 18RJB

I have a 2021 Wolf Pup 18RJB and have made the switch over to 2 100Ah ION batteries connected in parallel. BUT the solar on the system doesn't seem to charge the batteries at all. Do I need to get a different set up and what's does anyone suggest? I don't even know how the small panel that came with the RV even works. Total solar newbie and don't know much about it.

Moved thread from the General Toyhauler Topics section to the Toyhauler section's Cherokee sub-forum since the OP's trailer is a Cherokee product.

If you’re talking about the small panel that came on the trailer those are a feel good selling point. They are too small to do much especially if you’re trying to support 200 aH of lithium batteries.

I would suggest you search Solar charging and start reading.

You could start with an MPPT charge controller and about 300 watts of panels. That will give you a little more than a 12 volt refrigerator will use. If you’re not using the fridge it should top up those batteries pretty well.
