About to buy a new Class C

All your comments are great, so many things to consider and think about.

We're off to the Ottawa RV show this Saturday, I'm sure we'll find what we're looking for, thanks to all your comments :-)

The Sunseeker 3010DS floor plan seems to be our prefered choice for now.

This is one of the main reason we bought a Sunseeker, along with the fiberglass roof and floor plan that suited our needs. 3100SS. 129 cu. feet of storage.

That much storage is handy. Our 3011 ds has the spare in the center so there is a hump. Still pass through. Does yours have a spare ActionJackson?

Yes, there is a raised center section. The spare is on a cable/crank mechanism underneath that raised area. The passenger side has a table that fits in a recessed area that is flat with the raised center section.
That amount of storage was a huge factor in buying that particular rig.

Well my friends, the Ottawa RV Show should be renamed to Ottawa 5th Weel and Trailer Show as there was only 2 Class C vehicles!!

Went to RV Canada, saw and began negotiations on a Class A Georgetown 335, should make a decision in next 48-72 hours :-)

There is a significant jump in quality with the Winnebago Aspect, Itasca Cambria and Jayco Melbourne, to anything currently offered by Forest River. Yes all three are more expensive, but come with many options that you will wish you had later. You really do get what you pay for...
We still own a Forest River Trilogy fiver and now an Aspect 30J. After owning three FR products, we assumed all RV manufacturers were the same. Not so! There is a signifficant difference between the two companies in quality and commitment to service. If budget was an issue, I would buy a late model used Jayco, Itasca or Winnebago before a new Forest River anything. If I had to buy FR, Concord or Lexington.

You can get into a new Aspect 30J or Cambria 30J, loaded, for $90,000, MSRP $125,000 to $130,000. Jayco Melbourne slightly less.
