Any lady RVers on here ?

Thinking about taking a girlfriend RV trip next August while our men are in Sturgis. I am confident driving the motorhome but not with the toad ( yet ). Trying to think of a fun place to go for us girls that would not require a car. Want to take a week and I live in central Arkansas.

Hot Springs is always nice and they have several good state parks and private parks.........but have to really think the part over about not having a toad or chase car, since you would be limited on getting to attractions.

With transportation, it is a wonderful place to go. Not a good choice without a means of transportation.

Good ideas but these places would require a car. Heard that some of the campgrounds in Gatlinburg are on a Trolley route that will take you around....wondering about other places such as this.

Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg both have campgrounds on or in walking distance to trolley route. I have stayed at Camping In The Smokies (yes that's the name of the park) and the trolley route is right out front.

I had seen this RV resort the other day, when researching places to stay in New Orleans. It's right off the French Quarter. There's plenty to do down there, and you are near the trolleys or can walk/take a cab anywhere.

Don't know if that's your cup of tea though. New Orleans will be hot in August. Just throwing out ideas.

Back to the Branson. Don't know what your interest. But there a couple parks right on the strip. We stayed at one. I'll try and send a Picture of one parks web site. Not sure how it will print. I think it's the one we stayed at a couple times. They talk about a $5. Shuttle??Click image for larger version

Ft. Wilderness at Disney World is fun even without kids. It would be nice to have a car to leave WDW property, but not required on property. You can also rent a golf cart at the campground.

If having a car is high on your list, then choose a campground fairly near to an Interprise rental car place. They'll pick you up.

When we first bought our coach we weren't rigged up to tow and went to Hot Springs, we camped at Catherine's Landing and we rented a car, they came to the campground to pick us up.

I'm in NC. I drive the rig and let my DH do the navigating. I would have no problem doing it without him as long as I had a spotter for backing the fiver. There is a campground near Washington DC that I believe has a shuttle into the city. The city has good transportation once in there. I believe the campground is cherrystone.

I think alot f suggestions are going to depend on what you want to do. Be near a city, national park, attraction ie Disney or pigeon forge or just relax at a campground and not go anywhere.

You can get a nice backup camera and wireless too for that 5 th wheel. And for only hundred dollars. Then you can back up the big rig all by yourself!
