Berkshire and Charleston differences

I've been looking at the Berkshire and Charleston and have a general question about the actual mechanical differences between the two.
Has anyone actually done a comparison chart to make it easier to compare the two rigs?

Do they have the same engines/transmissions
Do they have the same frames?
Is the Berkshire more costly because of the interior quality?

The Charleston is more costlier unit because of upgraded interiors and possibly some exterior upgrades. It also has an ISL 8.9l 450hp engine with tandem rear wheels. b As far as I know, these are the only difference between the coaches. When I was at the factory, they were being built side by side.

Berkshires and Charlestons: they are beautiful aren't they?
If I knew how long I would live, I could better ration my savings, then I could pick one and drive off into the sunset.
However I believe the fun lies in the adventure ....maybe someday I can get one.

Thanks Iggy. I have absolutely no regrets over ordering a Georgetown and I am glad you offered your advisory services. There is so many conveniences to read about and it is easily more luxurious than our previous class C.
Most differences are superficial textures and colors anyway. So many places to visit and so few years.

Someone told me prior to buying my Georgetown that the driving your MH is a small percentage of time so why have the diesel and air horns.
All that matters is when you are hooked up and level on the shore of a lake my DW is happy and so am I.
