Charging Problems

I need some guidance, when I'm hooked up to shore power, my batteries are not charging. I checked all my fuses and all are good. Could it possibly be my inverter?
Or am I not looking at a common and simple fix. Furthermore, when I run my generator, my batteries are not charging either! The engine battery when running is the only thing that charges the chassis batteries.
Thank You

is everything else working, i.e., microwave, a/c...? My converter beeps when I switch on the 30 amp main breaker..

Do you have a main battery disconnect inside your unit?

Yes, everything is working, the lights are very low, that's what is strange. The microwave and A/C units are working with generator on .Yes I do have a disconnect in my coach.
It beeps when turned on. I discovered the problem this weekend, when I went camping and had full hook-up and saw the light in my fridge was low. I checked my power center and I usually have 4 lights lit up which means full charge. It only had 1 light lit up when checked.

There is a battery control center in motorhomes.

The fuse for protecting the coach batteries is located near or in the battery control center and there is an isolation relay that could also be bad.

Thx for your reply, my chassis batteries are under the 2 entry steps. What does the relay look like and is it something I can replace on my own.
Don't want to take it in if I don't have to. The dealer will keep my coach for a month or so! We have a trip planned.
Thx again

My converter is brown and located in the back bedroom. Thx for the pics, but does not look like mine. Fuses are on the bottom on my converter as opposed to the side like the ones in the pics.
Thx again

I think you and I may have similar problems. First, check the water level in your batteries. The ones in the camper aren't like a car - they have to be checked a couple times per year.

Second, you might want to research turning off your battery if you're plugged in to shore power for an extended time. I think leaving it plugged in with the battery turned to 'on' is overcharging the batteries. Just a guess.
