Coachman concord wire not connected

I have a coachman concord 2013 225le, I removed a panel above coach entry door, found a red wire connected but the black wire from the same insulated wire not connected, the black wire had insulation stripped off and wire looked like it had been connected at one time don't know if or what it is suppose to be connected to, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Larry

I would think the black wire would be a ground. Follow the red wire back where it goes and look for a terminal or post with a wire terminal but no wire. More than likely the terminal wasn't crimped properly and the wire just pulled out of it. One thing for sure, the connection point will be within the length of the wire from where it is now. Almost forgot. Does your porch light work? Being above the entry door sounds like it could be serving the porch light.
