Defunct DISH King Dome
When I got nowhere today with my King Dome locating a satellite, the tech guy at King informed me that my dome is out-dated, and will no longer work for DISH. It will, however, still work with Direct. Mine is from 2010, and in 2011 a circuit board was changed. Has anyone else encountered this? Our options-Switch to a DirectTV plan and get a new receiver (not gonna happen-very happy with DISH), or get a new Tailgater, and mount on the roof (or not). Since the MH is already wired, KD claims switching domes is simple-remove the old, attach the new to roof, screw in to cables already present. If anyone looking for a King Dome for Direct TV, I'll make you a deal. It is the in-motion one, and was pretty pricey in it's day, according to the KD tech guy.
