Welcome to Florida
Hoping that during your "clean-up efforts" you don't find any new "ventilation ports" allowing for rain intrusion...

Disregard route info question. Didnít realize you headed west
First to western Mass before going south. Iíve done the I81
To I77 route. Want to avoid the very steep grade
Especially on I77 early in NC. Looking at I395 to I95 to I287 across
Tapenzee bridge to get to I81 north of Carlyle PA
And then I66 and SR 17 to hit I95 at Fredricksberg VA

I almost always take the tapanzee. Sometimes I287 to I95 and then sometimes stay on I84 to I81. I didn't think the grade was too bad in NC on I77

Sure did, I left last Tuesday morning. Stopped in PA the first night, then onto to NC. Made it to Gainesville, FL on Thursday afternoon and had a short drive to Ft Myers on Friday afternoon. Now, I am back in New England, flew home last night.

That sounds like a good idea. I will be back down there from December 4-14. I'm in colonial country club. Are you close to there?

Weíre off of Summerlin @ Siesta Bay - on the way out to Sanibel bridge, just west of San Carlos that runs out to Ft Myers beach...
