FR now publishes a single email & number for motohome service for all motorized brands

Well, well, this is interesting. FR has removed the individual names, their email addresses, and their phone numbers from the "Contact Us" section of their web site under SERVICE. For the motorhomes it now shows this:

(BRAND) Owner Relations

(574) 206-7600

motorizedservice@forestriverinc.com

I take this as a positive step and used to wonder why they didn't do it before. Using a group mailbox assures that if someone moves on, is on vacation, or just drops the ball, other people will see the emails or get the calls.

The pic is from a letter we received from FR when we bought our Georgetown. I always thought this was a great practice.

Sounds like a good idea. It should help with tracing and accountability.

We used to do it that way, but the head of Forest River wanted a more personal experience so someone could reach out to a specific person. That of course creates other issues...when people post individual names instead of posting the "contact us" link which updates when changes happen.

This way also allows multiple people to get the email so they know what's going on. It has its own caveats. You have to make sure someone who gets the email does not assume someone else who got the email is taking care of it.
