Front end wobble on '17 or '18 Cherokee

Anyone have front end wobble on a 2017 or 2018 Cherokee when towed behind a motorhome? I just spoke to a FCA Jeep Customer Service rep who stated the problem has now been corrected and the wiring harness is not necessary. He stated he was very familiar with the problem and handled many calls regarding the issue. However, the vehicle must be equipped with the "Jeep Active Drive II" system in order to tow four wheels down.

Has anyone towed these vehicles without the wiring harness?
