I am only the 150th reply of confirmation. It is a better vacation when the DW is happy.
We stopped by a different RV sales office while ona trip a few weeks ago. For the first time, we both agreed! Neither of us found a 5er that we liked better than the Columbus mid-bunk we have right now. Well, that's for RIGHT NOW.

On my Monaco coach the sink, toilet were across from the shower but they added pocket sliders to utilize the walkway to "connect" both sides into one larger space.

Yea I know what everybody means! We were going to get something smaller and cheaper and for some strange reason saw one advertised with two full baths! From then on she wouldn’t consider anything else. So we ended up with a 2017 Forest River 364TS.
She is happy and therefore so am I!

Everyone had their own priorities. For us it was the bath and a half we got with our Forest River 378FB. The small half bath is on the main level for quick use and the full bath up front has double sinks with a large vanity, good sized shower which we use, toilet and plenty of storage. We use it as our dressing area! Love our 5th wheel.

Our Sunseeker pretty much does that - shower is on one side of the coach, the toilet on the other. The bathroom door secludes the back portion of the coach by rotating it 90 degrees. But, that's not the problem. The sink and counter are EXTREMELY close on the left side and the wall is EXTREMELY close on the right. This makes *paperwork* difficult to accomplish. Not sure I can make it any plainer. Well, I could, but....

Do you fancy a remodel? Since you said that you don't use the shower as-is.
Take out the shower and put a nice size sink where it is.
Take out the sink in the toilet room.
Rotate the toilet by a 1/4 turn.
You'll muck with resale by taking the shower out. BUT it would give you something usable for you two.

If that were the only issue, I might consider the mod. I do appreciate the suggestion - I hadn't thought of it. BUT, the more DW is looking, the more she likes the idea of the bunk in models like the Hurricane 34J. The FR3 32DS has a sofa/bunk model that fit the bill, but it has a curbside slide. She likes the full wall slide on the street side of the Hurricane - and I have to agree with her on that one; it is nice to have only one side with the slide, but there's no sofa that converts to a bunk on the bottom.
I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact a Class A is in our future. But, I'm not going to jump right now. We're looking forward to Hershey in 2 months.
And it continues.....

We have a 2700ds Dw loves layout and we use the shower etc even if is is a bit cramped. Toilet and shower same small room sink out side. When we settled on this plan it was her choice ( room for thought) so no real comeback on me
Have fun

Yes you are in trouble you have already lost. Take her to the dealer and let her find what she wants.

My DW wanted bigger bathroom than the one we had in our TT, ended up with a class A bath and a half. Wont go near a dealership if she's ever with me.

I wanted to buy a smaller, used 5th wheel for our first trailer so we could figure out exactly what we wanted before making a large purchase. She started looking on the other end of the spectrum. I ended up “compromising” on a new 42’ trailer. I don’t feel like she completely understands the concept of “compromise”.
