Keys for motor home basement locks.

I had to purchase a couple of new keys for my Georgetown basement locks. In doing my research to find the key number, I found there is only one key code fore the Southco locks, R001.
My question is has anyone tried to re-key these locks to a more unique key?

My motorhome had the universal, infamous CH751 keyed locks. I found a spare key in my keybox from a different “toy” of ours, and rekeyed the motorhome locks to match it, so the motorhome locks no longer accept the CH751 key. You can buy wafer kits and reconfigure your locks to match a different key, as long as the key is the same style that fits in the cylinder slot.

Or, you can just go to a company like CH751.com and buy all new locks and keys for your motorhome basement doors. https://shoprvlocks.com/
