Leveling System Noises

I understand that a lot of folk with the LCI leveling system have had issues with the levelers making noises while deployed. I experienced it a couple of times late last season, but it went away.

Been camping a lot this season and just now I've experienced about six thumps. Five of them shortly after we setup a couple of days ago, and one loud one today.

Is the fluid additive truly the fix for this problem?

Supposedly. Mine still pops, just not as bad as it originally did. I've kind of just learned to live with it and ignore it. Here's a PDF of the additive fluids.

We had the popping and cracking sound last winter in FL. I did the fluid replacement per LCI, but that did not seem to help. My rig, Coachman 2012 Encounter, was parked in full sun. The past 3 weeks we were in Maine, parked in the shade, with 1 or 2 minor cracks/pops. Seems like the noise last winter may be expansion in the jack lines? Will be camping for the month of Sept. in NH, will post if popping/cracking returns.
