Absolutely! So far this year we keep our sunshade open too - full sun and 86-88 degrees with high humidity. We typically run our MH around 76 inside during the day. Now the front still pushes the AC all day w/some cycling but it is very comfortable compared to last year where we struggled in the low 80s inside.
As it gets warmer we will be closing the sun shades during afternoon when the sun moves over and begins to come through the front and passenger windows.
We bought the two sides as well. Easy to put and down. The magnets are really(I mean really) strong. We did have on one occasion that the front shade blew off during a serious high wind thunderstorm...Since then I have bungie'd across the front - mirror to mirror. We leave on 24x7 during the week when we are not there now. No further issues.
Yes I would do it again - would like to get some for the other windows cause they really look great on our rig.
