Anybody got any real info on this engine?

I'm currently looking at a alegra breeze that has this engine in it and iv'e read lots of not so good things on the net

You will find info on the various Tiffin forums. Many say to avoid but there are also happy owners.

Main complaints if I recall correctly are comments about being under powered and too heavy so there was porpoising due to not enough weight on front axles.

yeah they say from 2013 to 15 is when they had the problems, thats when they up the HP and changed to 2010 emissions and put on the engine brake.

the fix for the front for the weaving over the road was fixed by a bigger sway bar.

the bus i bought is a 2011 with with the improvements already done. plus it's still got the 2007 emissions standard.

talked to the original owner and other then the fact his wife was not able to drive it he would have kept it, said he had no problems after the front end update, ans an alternator

Tiffin also added weight to the front end to help with the ride and handeling.
