New coachmen mirada & Pursuit

How are these Mh's? The older coachmen mhs were not that great lots of Delam and electrical problems, just overall a cheap mh.

The new ones look really good, the Mirada has body paint and a fiberglass roof, adzel walls and a lot of features that just a few years ago would only be found on mid level type motorhomes. They seem to run about $10-20k less than a Georgetown.

Bottom line is are these Mh's and good or are they still something to stay away from. Could one realistically buy one and get 10-12 years out of it would out it falling apart?

New coachmen mirada & Pursuit

I have a 2013 Coachmen Mirada 35DL. Had some issues initially, but they were easily resolved. Have 2 trips each from northern Ohio to Florida and Hilton Head on it now and it is great on the road. Even tows my 2008 Jeep Wrangler through the WV mountains with no issues. Spent all summer in it last year and plan to do the same this year. For the money it would be hard to beat this coach. Just wish they would have come out with the 35LS in 2013 as I would have bought it instead.

We have the Pursuit 31BDP and so far we like it. Have had a few warranty issues and a few dealer caused issues. Taking it in to the service center to get things corrected next week. Have done a few upgrades to things so far. We had been looking at the FR3 and Thor ACE before we went with the pursuit. The Forest River units seemed nicer than the ACE. As they say time will tell.

Thanks everyone for your replies so far. Does the pursuit have a fiberglass roof or TPO? I know the Mirada is fiberglass for 15'

The Pursuit has the TPO roof. Parents had a 5th wheel with a fiberglass roof and they still had problems and a good size crack that we had to fix.
