Some people know how to take care of things !!!
I have a 2003 F-150 with about 39k on it,,, always been keep in the Garage,,, Serviced all done on time or early,,, I could never get what it is worth !!!
It is cleaner than a lot of trucks out there that are 2 or 3 years old !!!
My truck forever,,, then my Grandsons can fight over it !!!
One already calls it his truck !!!

I use Blue OX base plate and tow bar. For brake assist using RVI 3. Both work great. you can install the plate on the vehicle yourself if you have general mechanical skills and a few basic tools. Only installation for the RVI 3 is to run the breakaway cable through a grommet in the firewall.

Tow Setup

I also use a Blue Ox Base Plate and Tow Bar but decided to go with a mechanical brake system instead of electrical. I use a "NSA Ready Brake" which is surge operated and uses a cable to pull the brake pedal. Works extremely well and is very reliable. I bought a "Protect-A-Tow" which is very easy to install and protects the front of jeep. Made by a Canadian company, best I found.

Nice Mini. Looks like a state beach parking lot. We are over here in Mass

It does look like one of those parking lots but I took this in an abandoned lot in Coventry RI after hooking it up for the first time. The Mini is so small and light I don't even know I'm towing it. Only thing is its a trade off because of its low road clearance but yet it is a lot of fun to drive.

Those Mini's are way cool ...

Just be careful where you go with that Mini however, word has it that the government is on the watch for these sorts of things, especially Minis that are occupied by people with AARP Cards.

Yes I too have heard much about that very thing! One must be on pins and needles that the CIA is about to have their AARP card revoked.😂

So far it's working well. It's approximately 3300 lbs and I really haven't noticed any significant difference in power. It does sit lower than a Jeep of course. But we like the ride and traded off road capability for a fun to drive car. I'm thinking of putting a 2 inch lift kit on it for a little more clearance so I won't have to be as careful about towing over big speed bumps etc.

I would love to have a Miata for a toad to rip around in but I am 6'4" and can't operate the pedals and the steering wheel with my legs in the way, so we got the Jeep. Since November, we have driven it about 600 miles and towed it about 2,000 miles. Great vehicle to have for a toad. We even take it out with the top off and follow or friends with bikes on a sunny day. Takes a while to get used to after. Driving an F-250 all week And then getting in a short wheel base vehicle like a jeep. It is probably one of the most versatile toads you could have so let's see some more!

Interesting, it would be nice to see that happen since Fords don't have that rusty frame issue.
