Tires and more

First the question: has anyone changed tires on their MH from 225/70-16 to 255/85-16? Essentially reducing the number of rpm’s from 734 to 658 per mile for about a 10% increase in (hopefully) MPG. If so, what were the results.
I need new tires for my F150 pick-up and I’m thinking of upgrading the MH to 235/85-16 and putting the 225’s on the pick-up. The 235’s will be capable of carrying more weight and that along with the increase in MPG (hope) will be a plus. What I’m looking for are negatives. I’m aware of the argument about the use of more HP to rotate larger tires and I’m ready to cope with that situation should it prove true. I’m thinking the ride quality might be compromised. What have I not factored in?
