Watching TV 2008 SE-350 newbe

What's a good thing to get so we can watch the TV while maybe driving and when we park at a site without going thru adj the dish like I read about. Because knowing my luck we get to s site and we can't get tv and we all know how important that is to the Wifie!thg

I have to say that watching TV while driving is not a real wise thing to do, I'm going to assume you mean the TV that is not within the drivers view. You can install a in-motion sat dish that will track while you drive. Makes for kind of expensive tv watching. Or you could get a dish setup that has auto sat finding where all you do is push a button.

Yes I'm not in view of it I would like something that it's a nightmare to setup when you reach your destination since I'm usually shot from driving and the Wifie isn't good with thoughts things.
Can you recommend some brand and type
Thank you

I have a Winegard Carryout and it's totally automatic.... (Wont work going down the road tho but works great when you're stationary) Just plug it in to power, connect the sat coax to the coach and unit does the rest.... Works with Direct but better with Dish (can get HD channels).... Been using it for years and love it....

I also have a 2008 Georgetown 350 and have gone to a Tailgater with DISH service. It couldn't be easier as far as set up. I carry it out , plug it in and I'm good to go. You can't watch while in motion but I travel alone so that's not necessary. If you need that you'll need to get an in-motion set up and that's pretty pricey, in my opinion.

Maybe you need to think some kind of recorded playback system. Record or download while sitting still and watch while on the move.

I have to have my tv but am too cheap to get satellite again. I use a roku 3 with a portable hard drive plugged into it. It takes a little work to convert the dvd's to mpg3 format (one of the codecs that roku can read) but I only have to do it once. I have hundreds of movies and dozens of entire tv shows (the entire series) saved onto a couple of portable hard drives. The hard drives are plugged into the roku which is plugged into the tv. I just decide what I want to watch and navigate to it on the roku. My sister jokes that I have more movies and tv shows than we could watch in years of camping. Works well if you have the dvd's and like to watch repeats of movies or shows (not so well if you only want to watch something one time). happy camping - Cincia
