"a condition for them to help us out".....

From what we have been told, this is not an FR sponsored forum. Remove what you have said. "a condition for them to help us out" The idea of the factory/Dealer forcing you to retract some words that seem to ring true is black mail.

They should not be deleted if true.

Can we all have this post removed or that post removed just by asking?

In one of my visits to the Surveyor factory I asked my contacts if they read this board at all. Reluctantly I got a , yes we know of it, but we do not spend much time reading it, but higher up, there are people who read it, just not at the factory level.

Which makes sense, their job is to make the trailers, I am pretty sure that at the corporate level, FRF has some serious attention given. Any company who is smart would pay attention to a forum with 50K members who are all their customers, or about to be, or are their lost or about to be lost customers.

I posted several pictures on the thread in question, very graphically showing the problems associated with wood rot on the Work and Play 34 FK I have. This is not a warranty issue because the unit is 6 years old. But I would like to repair what was a $35,000 trailer before it is worthless and so far neither the dealer who sold it or anyone at the plant even wants to discuss it.
I may have to transport the unit to the plant and ask questions in person.
Instead of removing the thread, Forest River should update the thread with their actions to satisfy this customer. Not very transparent.

Forest River has nothing to do with this forum or removal of any threads. This is a fan forum and isn't affiliated with Forest River whatsoever.

Not slander - or libel - if it's true. And opinions are protected speech as well. That's mostly what we see on this forum.

I wrote out a long list of problems that I had during that time with my unit (OCs awing poles worked great) and the need to go back to the Dealer to fix these problems.....The Dealer has agreed to address the problems (second time on some problems). I deleted the list out of a little respect for the thread. I am a fan of the Forum.... Forest River.. not so much. My main issue has been the garsh darn slides not going in or out when needed.
